The right words, and where to put them
For 15 years, I’ve been a communications lead, writer and event host for businesses across the globe. My clients range from energetic start-ups still finding their voice to global giants who need support with creating a compelling narrative.
With every client, my goal is the same: to understrand your business strategy and shape it into an intelligent, compelling communications strategy that finds the right audience and leaves a lasting impression.
Communications strategy
- As a fractional communications lead, I align content delivery with business strategy.
- I bring my lived experience, having co-founded and successfully sold a software startup.
- Together we create a strategy tailored to your business: my clients vary from energetic startups to established multinational businesses.
All about the content
- I turn complex concepts into clear, engaging ideas for articles, tutorials or external content
- As a ghostwriter, I produce thought leadership pieces sounds like you, only sharper
- I am expert in crafting copy of all shapes and sizes, from web text and brochures to white papers and research reports
- I provide support with awards submissions, writing cracking copy that grabs attention
- An editor with a sharp eye for detail, ready to align communications with your brand’s unique tone of voice
Podcasts, events and videos
Sometimes a business wants to go even further, to create podcasts and videos that engage with their customers and define the context of their brand. I am an experienced host, both for recorded content and live events such as roundtables and conferences. I am full of ideas for how to deliver creative content.
Who I am

I've spent the last 15 years helping businesses and brands find the right words. Whatever sector you're in, I expect I've written about it. I can talk to you about how businesses are designing the cities of the future, the supercomputers that power AI or the limitations of compostable coffee packaging.
Before becoming a freelance writer, I spent ten years as a business journalist and editor. I also successfully sold a software start-up that I co-founded, so I know how a business needs to get in front of the right customers. Today, the people I work with vary from fledgling businesses looking to grow to established, global brands with thousands of employees.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Drama, a Master’s degree in Creative Writing and a bunch of writing qualifications that I picked up along the way. But what really makes me a great writer is the experience of working with so many amazing brands.
One week I might be sitting across from a CEO, discussing their international real estate strategy, the next, I’m deep in conversation with a founder talking about technology that will change the world. Beyond words on a screen, my job is to translate their vision into something that makes people listen and even reconsider.
